Media Report 50km World Trophy Final, Assen August 20th 2011
We are now in the midst of IAU international ultrarunning season. After the 3rd IAU Trail World Championships (Connemara, Ireland), we are looking forward to the 8th IAU 50km World Trophy Final.
The race takes place on August 20th 2011 in Assen, the Netherlands. Please find the attached media report pertaining to the event. Seun Samuel Moleshioa (RSA) and Sue Harrison (GBR) lead the list of qualifiers in the men's and women's fields respectively.
We will try our best to bring you Live Updates from the race. But currently we are trying to work technological logistics on the ground. We won't know for certain about Live Updates until we arrive in Assen later this week. But we will keep you posted on the happenings (pre- and post- race and possibly Live Updates) on our website.
The next race after the 50km World Trophy Final is the 25th IAU 100km World and Euroepan Championships in Winschoten on September 10th 2011.
Please note that August 27th is the last day to sign up for the Masters race in Winschoten being run concurrently in collaboration with the WMA.
