Il prossimo 29 settembre 23013, si svolgerà il Trail des Aiguilles Rouges (TAR) sulla distanza di 50 km, con 4000 metri di dislivello positivo., che avrà come suo contraltare per i traler meno allenati il "P'tit Trail des Aiguilles Rouges sulla distanza di 15 km con un dislivello positivo (D+) di 1000 metri (partenza ed arrivo di entrambe le competizioni a Chamonix). A pochi giorni dalla gara (meno di 10 giorni) è in corso il rush finale per l'accaparamento degli ultimi chip/pettorali.

An immense success for the Trail des Aiguilles Rouges, the last race of the season in the Chamonix valley. The TAR offers a technical and wild route which the weather conditions could make even more challenging - Chamonix has taken on an autumnal look these last few days - which is the reason that all lovers of nature and the mountains have made a rendezvous.
Aged from 18 to 75, elite or anonymous... they all share the same desire to surpass themselves and make this beautiful race a particularly friendly and exceptional moment.
The « sprint » on September 5th was a success! Opened on April 1st, registration for the TAR was closed in mid-May, having the obtained the quota of runners. For the first time the organisation offered runners a last chance with an exceptional re-opening of registration for 50 supplementary race-bibs on September 5th at 21:00. By 21:02, they had found takers.....
A great sporting line-up... Among the elite female runners, we have Caroline Chaverot, 4th in the 2012 TAR, the Swiss woman is on great form this year, without counting her victories: CCC® (101km), 2013Tour De La Grande Casse (65Km), Quechua Tour Des Fiz (61Km), Montagn'hard 60 (60Km), 80Km Du Mont-Blanc (78Km), Trail Du Gypaete (72Km)... But also, Delphine Avenier from France, who also has an impressive list for 2013 : 3rd woman in the CCC® (101km), 2nd woman in the Quechua Tour Des Fiz (61Km), 2nd woman in the Trail l'esprit Angolon (57km), will be looking for a place on the highest step of the podium.
For the men, the Swiss Jean-Yves Rey : Winner of the Trail Du Gypaete 2013 (72Km), 6th in the 2012UTMB® (105Km), 7 th in the 2011Trail Des Aiguilles Rouges (50Km), and 2 nd in 2010 (54km), winner of the 2009 CCC® and the 2008 Marathon du Mont-Blanc, will face his compatriots, the Gabioudbrothers, Jules-Henri, winner of the 2011 Tor des Géants® and 3rd in the 2012 Grand trail de Valdigne, and Candide 5 th in the 2013 Ultra Tour Du Beaufortain (104Km), 8th in the 2013 80Km Du Mont-Blanc (78Km). One should also follow Sangé Sherpa (Nepal) who has had good 4th places in 2013:Échappée Belle (133Km), Courchevel X'trail (54Km) and the Quechua Tour Des Fiz (61Km).
Up and coming local names... In Chamonix, trail running has its followers and several runners are coming to the fore... Bastien Fleury, who was 12 th in the 2011 Trail Des Aiguilles Rouges (50Km), 2nd in the 2012 Trail Verbier St-Bernard -Traversée (61Km) to, in 2013, winning two good 5th places in the Quechua Tour Des Fiz (61Km) and the 80Km Du Mont-Blanc (78Km). And Sacha Devillaz, who achieved 7th in the 2013 Grand Raid DesPyrénées (80Km), 2nd in the 2013 Courchevel - 30Km (33Km), 16th in the 2012 Marathon Du Mont-Blanc 2012 (42Km).
Latest news: Modified route. At the request of the managers of the Haute-Savoie nature reserves, the route has been modified so as to avoid the fragile zone of the Combe de Vogealle which is a zone which shelters the fauna. The total distance remains unchanged; the total ascent has been slightly increased by 50m. The map is available to download form the web-site le site www.aiguillesrouges.fr
