La Turchia è entrata a far parte della della IAU (International Association of Ultrarunners) ed è così il più giovane membro della federazione, come pure sono state cooptate subito prima l'Armenia e Hong Kong.
C'è da augurarsi che questi tre nuovi membri possano partecipare ai Maggiori eventi IAU del 2014, per i quali non vi sono ancora delle location e delle date certe, ma per le quali il direttivo IAU sta alacremente lavorando.
Intanto, il 14 settembre 2013 si è svolto per la terza volta il Campionato nazionale 100 km di Mongolia, valevole anche come Campionato militare 100 km e 5 km.

Mongolian Ultra Marathon Federation has organized ‘100km National Championships’ third time and 350 and more runners and Army athletes from every quarter of Mongolia have competed for the following categories:
National Championships: 100 km, 50 km and 5X10km relay
Army championships: 50 m and 5 km.
5 m course for amateurs
Mr. Purevkhuu.Kh who is Vice president of the MUMF and Mr. Erdenebayar.B who is Bagakhangai district governor are addressed the participants in its opening ceremony.
Many singers have performanced during the opening and closing ceremony.
The championships started at 8.30 am, the weather was 11-13 celcius, wind 14m/sec.
There were fruits, tea and food in every 5 km for runners of 100 km and 50 m. About 46 staffs have organized the event including referees, doctors, policemen, drivers, massager and assistants.
The oldest runner was Mr. Morkhoo who is 85, came from Bulgan province west side of Mongolia and the youngest one was Bilguun 10 years old, for 5 km.
Mrs. Badamkhatan set new record to Mongolian ultra by 9:16:31 for 100 km and Mr. Dorjpalam set new record by 3:13:14 for 50 km.
